Lizzy Gold was born on October 16, 1987, in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, as Elizabeth Onuwaje. She is from the Itsekiri tribe and grew up in a Christian family with four siblings. Lizzy Gold’s parents are Mr. Johnson Mele Onuwaje and Mrs. Onuwaje.
Her father passed away during boxing day December 26, 2025, but her mother, Mrs. Onuwaje, is still living and working as a gospel pastor. Lizzy Gold has four siblings, including her two children, Rex (boy) and Real (daughter). Lizzy Gold’s educational experience began with her primary and secondary schooling in Delta State.
She later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from Delta State University (DELSU). She went to the Royal Arts Academy in Lagos to develop her acting career and completed a short-term acting degree.
