Lady who went viral crying for Job get employed by Blord Group
A Nigerian lady who broke down in tears begging for a job on social media has finally secured employment.
The lady, identified as @koredudu on TikTok, was offered a job by Blord Group after her emotional video went viral.
Emotional TikTok Video Sparks Massive Attention
The lady had taken to her TikTok page to make a heartfelt appeal, asking Nigerians to help push her video so she could get a job.
In the video, she appeared visibly emotional as she spoke about her struggles.
She said: “I have a confession to make. I think I am gradually getting to my breaking point. It is not actually easy coming to face the camera, but please, the way the same energy people put into making many things go viral on social media, please kindly put this energy into posting my video. Please, I need a job.”
The clip quickly gained traction, with users sharing, commenting, and tagging influential figures.
Viral Job Plea Gets Response from Blord
Days after the video went viral, Nigerian businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, reacted to the trending plea.
Blord later announced that he had decided to offer the young woman a job at his company.
His decision sparked another wave of reactions online, with many praising him for responding to her cry for help.
Blord Announces Employment on Instagram
On January 22, 2025, Blord shared a video on his Instagram page confirming that the lady had been employed.
In the post, he wrote:
“BLORDGROUP WELCOME KOREDE TO OUR HEADQUARTERS!!! I HAVE FULFILLED MY PROMISE OF MAKING HER HEAD OF @bluntgadgets IN LAGOS OFFICE. GOD BLESS @mazitundeednut FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE, LOVE AND LIGHT 💡!!! BLORDGROUP WON’T STOP EMPOWERING.”
The announcement was accompanied by a video showing Blord speaking with Korede in person.
From Unemployment to New Role at Blord Group
At the start of the video, Blord introduced himself and the lady, saying:
“Good morning guys, this is Blord. I’m with Korede, all the way from Ogun State.”
Korede also shared her first impression of her new environment, saying:
“Awka is pleasant, it’s a pleasant place. The reception is warm.”
Blord then asked her:
“How do you feel not having a job two weeks ago to having a job now?”
She responded emotionally:
“It’s something I didn’t really expect. Thanks to Blord Group.”
Blord Confirms Her Position and Next Steps
Blord further explained her role at the company, saying:
“We at Blord Group decided to give Korede an opportunity to work with us as the Head of Blunt Gadgets in Lagos. Korede, we can’t wait to see your action. We can’t wait to have you in our Lagos office. Lagos people are ready to order from you.”
