Lady warns Lekki dwellers against using the water available there

A Lekki resident took to Twitter to raise an alarm over the water in the community which is reportedly “giving many thrush”.

According to @Rene_noire, everyone around her seem to get the fungal infection after using the water.

She wrote;

“If you live in LEKKI be careful using the water to wash your vagina. Everyone around me got thrush and I’m sure I’ll get it next ?.”

Thrush is a yeast infection of the mouth and throat, characterized by patches of white. Thrush is usually a minor and easily addressed problem, but it can be more serious for those with immune system disorders, such as AIDS. Treatment is with antifungal medications.
