Lady sparks buzz as she questions why married men show more affection to side chicks than their wives
A Nigerian lady has sparked conversations online after calling out what she described as a troubling pattern among some married men.
According to her, some married men lack romance and emotional connection with their wives despite showing those same qualities to their side partners.
In viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she questioned why some men appear emotionally distant in their marriages, particularly when it comes to intimacy, yet suddenly become affectionate outside their homes.
“Why do some married men refuse to romance their wives before sex, yet freely romance their side chicks?” she asked.
She further alleged that some wives are reduced to intimacy without emotional connection, claiming that some women even conceive while being ‘deeply asleep’ — a statement that sparked reactions online.
According to her, marriage should not strip women of affection and foreplay, stressing that wives deserve the same emotional presence and romance that men often extend to their side partners.
The post has since reignited debates on social media about marital intimacy and the double standards often placed on wives versus side partners.
