Lady shares awkward date experience after discovering wealthy man pays gateman N30K monthly
Lady recounts an uncomfortable dating experience with a rich man over what she described as unfair treatment of his gateman.
The lady took to social media to share her experience following the awkward date experience.
Lady discovers rich man pays gateman N30K
According to the lady, the issue came up during their date when she learned that the man, who owns an expensive car and lives in his own house, pays his gateman ₦30,000 per month.
She expressed shock at the amount, especially after observing that he appeared to spend significantly more money during their outing alone.
Lady confronts rich man over gateman’s low pay
She explained that the discovery led to a heated exchange between them, as she questioned the fairness of the wage, pointing out that the gateman reportedly works every day of the week without any day off. The disagreement, she said, created tension and ultimately dampened the mood of the date.

“I went on a date with a rich man and found out he pays his gateman ₦30k a month.
You own a nice car, you own the house that you live in. In fact on our date alone you probably spent N200K, and you’re paying your gateman N30K.
I was like that isn’t right, and we had a back and forth argument, and the date was sort of ruined. Worse still, the gateman works seven days a week without a day off”
