Lady questions request for prayer over insecurity, after Adeyinka Alaseyori asked Nigerians to pray

Lady questions repeated calls for citizens to pray for the government amid ongoing insecurity and kidnappings across the country.
Recall that earlier, the gospel singer Adeyinka Alaseyori had called on Nigerians to pray for their leaders and over the insecurity ravaging the country.
Reacting to recent appeals by religious leaders for Nigerians to support the government through prayers, the woman argued that elected officials already possess the authority, resources, and security apparatus needed to address the country’s challenges.
She questioned whether the inability to tackle insecurity stems from a lack of capacity or a lack of political will.
The woman also expressed frustration over the continued incidents of kidnapping and violence, suggesting that stronger action should be taken by those in positions of authority.
She said …
“What do you mean I should pray for the Nigerian government that they can’t do it alone? They can not do it alone or they will not do it? Who are benefiting from these things? Do you think I benefit from k!dnapping & k!lling people? Do you think if the president wants, he cannot just pick a phone & say hey I want this to end in less than 24 hrs & you think it won’t end? Do you know the amount of soldiers & police we have?”
