Lady laments as ex-boyfriend moves new girlfriend into house he rented for her

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to express distress after her ex-boyfriend allegedly moved his new girlfriend into the apartment he previously rented for her.

According to the lady, her ex paid for the apartment’s rent for two years, and she had already planned to handle the third year herself without asking him for help.

However, she returned home one day to find that he had used a spare key to rearrange her belongings, moving her items from the sitting room into the bedroom.

She said her ex informed her that his new girlfriend would now be using the sitting room, adding that if she was uncomfortable with the arrangement, she should vacate the apartment.

The lady lamented that finding a new place in Lagos at short notice is extremely difficult, leaving her confused and frustrated by the situation.

Her words …

“The apartment I’m currently living in was rented by my ex boyfriend and he paid for two years and I didn’t disturb him to pay for the third year because I’ll pay myself. So today I went out and because he had a spare by the time I would get back he had placed all my belongings from the sitting room to the bedroom, that he wants his new girlfriend to use the sitting room. I told him I didn’t say I won’t pay the rent and he said if I’m not okay with his decision I should pack out and right now to see a house in Lagos is hard”.
