Lady labels mother ‘bad mum’ for treating her like an enemy over money
A Nigerian lady broke down in tears as she called out her mother for allegedly maltreating her and making her feel like an enemy whenever she fails to give her money.
The emotional outburst was shared on TikTok, where the lady opened up about the pressure some daughters face from their parents—particularly mothers—regarding financial support.
In the video, she lamented that many young women are forced into difficult situations just to meet the financial expectations of their parents.
According to her, some mothers treat their daughters well only when money is involved, but once the financial support stops, the relationship turns sour.
She said in part: “My mum will say… Funny enough, if you stop giving them money—maybe you no longer want to continue with what you were doing, you’re trying to change, trying to figure things out—once you stop, you’ll become their enemy.”
