Lady cries out as her page gets disabled after asking Wizkid FC to unfollow Verydarkman

Lady laments after her Instagram page was reportedly taken down following a comment she made asking Wizkid FC members to unfollow social media critic Verydarkman (VDM).

Earlier, the critic had called out Wizkid FC over an attempt to unfollow him, giving them a 24-hour ultimatum to carry out their threat.

However, the lady whose account he had used as reference was reported by fans of Verydarkman.

Lady behind the viral account cries out

In an emotional video shared online, the lady explained that her page was mass-reported shortly after VDM made a post referencing her comment.

She lamented that the account, which she described as her “life’s work,” had been active for over a decade and served as her major source of income, opportunities, and livelihood.

According to her, she was not the only person who commented under the post, noting that many users made even harsher remarks, yet she became the focus of backlash.

Lady notes that she only shared her opinion

She expressed shock that her account was disabled despite only sharing her opinion, stressing that she neither insulted nor threatened anyone.

The lady further claimed that after the incident, she began receiving calls from unknown numbers, which left her feeling scared and unsafe.

She questioned why freedom of speech should lead to such severe consequences and why she appeared to be singled out as a scapegoat.

Her words …

“Hello everyone. I’m the girl that VDM made a post about. Right now my entire social media is on fire because I’m having people sending me screenshots or blogs. A lot of people are seeing a lot of things and in all honesty this is not fair. This is really not fair because I wasn’t the only person that made a comment. There are a shit ton of people under that post. They said a lot of hateful comments, even way more than what I said. All I just said was, oh, I actually was expecting VDM to be truthful in this. Because, I mean, I now said, okay, all FC fans should go and follow VDM. Because I know for a fact that some VDM followers are also FC fans. Now, you guys now went to report my page. Now, Instagram has taken down my page. This is not fair. That Instagram that you guys have taken down now, that is my life’s work. I’m not talking about two years. I’m not talking about five years. This is more than ten years that I have put into that page. That page has brought jobs. That page has fed me. That page has… Like, the life I am living comfortably now, that page has… Like, that page has taken me to places that I never ever ever imagined I would be at. Now, because I made a comment that… men like this is that’s why it’s called freedom of speech that’s why it’s called opinion my opinion that i put you can never sit well with another beast opinion that is just how life is we cannot all agree to something the video in question i know when you started i was following you i i really liked your movement i saw things you were doing for people That was not even pushed me to your page. Now you made something. Yes, whatever post I said was out of, was that out of emotions? Yes, I’m not going to lie. Because I even had to unfollow at that instant when I saw this, that page and post just like this early morning. I had to unfollow because it did not sit well with me. Now I said my own two cents. It didn’t sit well with a lot of you guys and you guys now proceed to go. This is not fair. How about people that took their cameras and was insulting VDM? You guys, when I never go take down those people paid, now comment I comment, I don’t shoot anybody, I don’t press anybody for neck. Like, this is not fair. Now I just even had a call from, I don’t even, they’re telling me Ratel Movement, how will I make, like two different numbers has called me and I’m asking like, how did you get my call line? This is my phone, how? Is it how it is? Is it that people can’t say their own opinions again? Because this is actually really scary. It’s actually really scary if we are to dig deep into this thing. A lot of people said a lot of things in that comment. I was not the only one. Why am I the scapegoat? Why would I choose to use Catherine, Dara, Senchiko, Kerobe, Chinaza as scapegoats? I don’t understand. Because I talked to me, FC Goan, follow VDM. I’m not cussing. I’m not talking, okay, I’m not saying. That’s just my own opinion I put. And obviously it will not sit well with a lot of people. Just the same way VDM Sports did not sit well with a lot of us. Like honestly, this is not fair. Like honestly, like this is really not fair. That’s my life’s work. That’s my life’s work that you people brought down just like that. It’s not fair. Okay, we don’t feel talk anything for this internet. Because this just means that if somebody now has their own opinion and it doesn’t just sit well with people, then you guys just want to report account just like that.”
