Lady cries out after her parents stopped her from getting married because her elder sister is still single

A lady has poured out her heart on social media after her parents allegedly stopped her from getting married because her elder sister is still single.

The lady who pleaded anonymity while sharing her story, wrote;

“Call me wicked or anything you want but I can no longer bear this stupid tradition of allowing my elder sister get married before me.

All my life, I have met good men who have been so cool with me and wanting to get married to me, but when I bring them home, they bring that foolish talk of – ‘your elder sister is not married’.

Excuse me, I have my own life. And I cannot bear to lose while my sister who I’m waiting for keeps going out with different men and refusing to settle with one. Why should I be punished for another person’s problem? What is this?

The most annoying part is that I have a man that I’m currently dating right now, and I fear to hear marriage from him because I wouldn’t want to lose him when my parents turn him down. I’m tired of this”.
