Lady cries out after being deceived by neighbor, wrongly accuses Twitter crush of being a ritualist

A Nigerian lady has shared a shocking experience after wrongly accusing a man she met on Twitter of being a ritualist, only to later discover she had been deceived by her own neighbour.

The story, shared on social media, has sparked widespread discussion online.

Meeting a Twitter Crush

The lady recounted how she met a guy on Twitter, got along well with him, and he eventually visited her at her apartment in school.

The Missing Sponge

After the visit, the lady noticed that her sponge, which she usually left on her bathroom window after bathing, had gone missing.

The only person she could think of was the stranger she had just met, which made her anxious and fearful.

Seeking Spiritual Guidance

Out of concern and for spiritual reasons, she began seeking guidance from various places, including churches, trying to uncover the reason behind the missing sponge.

Her search eventually led her to a pastor, who happened to be the pastor of her neighbour.

The Pastor’s “Vision”

The pastor claimed to have seen a vision in which the Twitter visitor had taken her sponge for ritualistic purposes.

He also disclosed personal details about her life that seemed impossible for him to know.

Trusting his words, the lady carried out 21 days of fasting and prayer and even visited JABU for deliverance.

The Shocking Truth

The deception was later uncovered when her neighbour and the pastor had a dispute.

It turned out the pastor had fabricated the vision, and it was the neighbour who had been providing all the information about her.

The sponge had never left her apartment; it was her neighbour who had taken it and was using it to wash plates.

Confrontation and Regret

Before discovering the truth, the lady had already accused the Twitter visitor of being a ritualist. He later came to her house at night, creating a tense and dangerous situation.

She confronted him loudly, leading him to leave, and she never saw him again.

After realizing her mistake, she tried to find the man on Twitter and other platforms to apologize for wrongly humiliating him. Unfortunately, she was never able to locate him.

In her words:  “Put a finger down if you met a guy on Twitter, you both started talking, and everything was going well. You really liked him, the vibe was good, and he decided to visit you in your school apartment. Meanwhile, you had a male neighbour who lived close to you and usually knew whenever you had visitors. One day after the guy from Twitter visited and left, you noticed that your sponge was missing. This was the sponge you usually spread on your bathroom window after bathing.

You were certain you had taken your bath and left the sponge there. You started asking yourself who could have taken the sponge, but the only person you could think of was the stranger you just met for the first time. Out of fear and for spiritual reasons, you became worried and curious about why the sponge went missing. You started running to church and different places, trying to understand what was going on and whether the guy had taken your sponge to do something bad with it.

Somehow, you ended up meeting a pastor who happened to be the pastor of your neighbour. The pastor told you he saw a vision that the guy took your sponge and was about to use it for rituals. He also told you many personal things about yourself — things he couldn’t have known because he didn’t live with you. At the time, you didn’t realize what was really happening.

The pastor then asked you to do 21 days of fasting and prayer, which you did. You even went to JABU for deliverance. You did all of that.

Later on, your neighbour and the pastor had a fight. That was when the truth came out. You found out that the pastor never saw any vision and was a fake pastor. It was your neighbour who had been telling the pastor everything about you all along — including when the guy visited you. You later discovered that it was actually your neighbour who took your sponge and was using it to wash plates.

Before you found out the truth, the guy from Twitter came to your house for the second time after you had stopped talking to him. You had already accused him of being a ritualist and called him names. He came to look for you at night, and the situation was very dangerous. Instead of listening to him, you shouted at him and created a scene. He eventually left, and you never saw him again.

After discovering the truth, you tried to find the guy on Twitter and everywhere else just to apologize for humiliating him and accusing him wrongly. Unfortunately, you never found him again.”
