Kolu sparks buzz, claims Carter Efe blocked him over ₦20 million Davido gift
Social media conversations have intensified following a public call-out involving content creator Kolu, Nigerian music star Davido, and comedian-singer Carter Efe.
The controversy gained traction after a video circulated online via Wahala Network, in which Kolu accused Carter Efe of blocking him over an alleged disagreement connected to a ₦20 million gift reportedly sent by Davido.
According to Kolu, the issue began after he requested what he described as his “share” of the ₦20 million Davido gifted Carter Efe to support him after appearing on his Twitch stream.
Kolu claimed he felt sidelined and unfairly treated despite what he says were his contributions to Carter Efe’s journey.
The allegations have sparked divided reactions online. While some social media users argue that the matter is strictly between Kolu and Carter Efe, others insist that transparency is important when large sums of money and creative collaborations are involved.
On the other hand, critics have faulted him for taking the dispute public, stressing that personal disagreements should be resolved privately.
