Kenneth Okonkwo Early Life

Kenneth Okonkwo was born on November 6, 1968, under the sign of Scorpio.

The actor is from Nigeria and has Nigerian nationality. He was born in the Nigerian town of Nsukka, Enugu State. His ethnicity is Igbo (Black).

Ozioko Francis is the actor’s father, while Beatrice is his mother. Anita and Princess are his known siblings. Both are practising lawyers.

Kenneth continued his studies at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

He eventually went on to study International Law and Diplomacy at the University of Lago. He was then summoned to the Nigerian bar.

Kenneth also holds a Theology certificate from the Nigerian Bible School and has been taught as a bible scholar and Minister of God.

Kenneth began his acting career in 1991. After multiple tryouts, he was given the opportunity to star in his first major production, “Living in Bondage,” which catapulted him to fame.

He has since acted in a number of additional films, becoming a household name. He is widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s most brilliant and versatile performers.

Living in Bondage, Ripple, Dumebi, Silent King, World Apart, Helplessly in Love with My Wife, Royal Secret, Billionaires Club, The Power of Money, and Husband Material are among his highlighted films.

Patience Ozokwor, Mercy Johnson, Olu Jacobs, Pete Edochie, Tonto Dikeh, Stephanie Linus, Ramsey Noah, Norbert Young, Monalisa Chinda, Van Vicker, Ashley Nwosu, Enebeli Elebuwa, Nkem Owoh, Chioma Okpotha, Omoni Oboli, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, and Uche Jumbo, among others, have appeared alongside Kenneth.

He began his political career in 2014 when he ran for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives member seat representing Nsukka/Igboeze South Federal Constituency.
