“Just a little misunderstanding” – Nigerian man cries out as wife abandons their 3-month-old baby

A Nigerian man has sparked conversation on social media after claiming his wife left him with their three-month-old baby following what he described as a “little misunderstanding.”

The post, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @Teniola, features the emotional man explaining that his wife has been away from home for four days, leaving him to care for their infant.

Married for barely a year, he said he is confused, heartbroken, and struggling to understand how a minor disagreement could escalate so quickly.

In his words, he said:

“My wife left me… at first, I thought it was a joke. I never wanted to make this video, but this situation has really choked me.

This baby has been crying, and she’s all I’ve been taking care of. She’s been gone for four to five days. Can you believe she left a three-month-old baby with me? How am I supposed to take care of her?”

What seemed like a small issue quickly became overwhelming, especially as he had no choice but to nurture the baby, putting his work and personal life on hold.
