Iyinoluwa Aboyeji (b. March 28, 1991) is a Nigerian entrepreneur. He co-founded Andela and previously served as the managing director of Flutterwave. Aboyeji was named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Africans by New African Magazine in 2019.

Iyinoluwa Aboyeji was born on March 28, 1991, in Lagos, Nigeria. Aboyeji attended Loyola Jesuit College and graduated from senior secondary in 2007. He then attended Columbia International College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in international and legal studies, as well as international development, from the University of Waterloo and St Jerome’s University.

Career

Aboyeji co-founded Andela, a global job placement network for software professionals, in 2014. In 2016, he co-founded Flutterwave, Africa’s premier payments technology firm. Aboyeji is the current general partner and co-founder of Future Africa, a platform that offers finance, coaching, and community to mission-driven innovators.

He has also worked as an advisor for Africa Angels Network (now CRE VC), Africa’s largest seed-stage fund, with over 18 investments in nine countries.

After co-founding Future Africa, Aboyeji worked as deputy director-general for Oby Ezekwesili’s 2019 presidential campaign. He is also the co-founder and chairman of Talent City Inc., a building firm.

In November 2024, he was appointed to the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy’s 3MTT Advisory Committee, which aims to improve employability in Nigeria’s digital environment.
