Spurs appealed for a foul by Raul Jimenez on Radu Dragusin in the build-up, but after a VAR review the goal was allowed to stand.

Fulham maintained pressure through midfield, with Iwobi heavily involved in transitions and link-up play.

Clinical finish extends advantage

Iwobi doubled the lead in the 34th minute, finding space outside the area before driving a precise shot inside the post following a quick exchange with Wilson. The finish capped a confident first-half performance from the Nigeria international.

Fulham could have added further goals before the break, with Calvin Bassey missing from close range and Jimenez and Emile Smith Rowe also denied.

Spurs responded after the interval, pulling a goal back in the 66th minute when substitute Richarlison headed in Archie Gray’s cross. However, Fulham managed the closing stages effectively to secure three points.
