“I’ve never cried this way in my life” – Married lady cries out over husband’s support for his family

A married lady has sparked reactions online after sharing her emotional struggles with her husband’s financial support for his family.

The wife, who shared her story with Racheal Joseph on Facebook, revealed that while her husband earns well, he consistently prioritises his family over hers.

She said she has tried to be understanding, but a recent event left her heartbroken.

My Husband Builds for His Mother

According to her, the breaking point came when her husband built a house for his mother and supported it with a car.

She explained that her own family is not as well off, with her brothers working hard but still struggling.

The lady questioned why her husband could not also support her family while others in his family are already wealthy.

Sharing her frustration online, she wrote:

“I’m learning the hard way… My husband works and earns well, but his family will not let him be. He is always giving to them. As an understanding person, I do not talk. But the one that made me cry is that he went ahead to build a house for his mum and supported it with a car 😭. I cried my eyes out so much.

I am here managing, with you only for you to go and build and buy a car for your mum? Bringing your mum in grand style and letting people surprise her. Me, that is your wife—how many times have you surprised me? My father’s house is there; he did not do anything. My dad is still not doing well, and upon that, I explained everything to him. I told him about my predicament, which he saw. I did not expect him to ignore us.

My brothers are very hardworking, but you know how life is now, it has humbled them. My husband is not the only rich man in his family. His family members are rich, so why can he not channel support to my family while others support their own?

I have never cried this way in my entire life, and it is because I am being an understanding wife. Please I need advice, please help me…”
