“It’s a slap on your face” – Yul Edochie blasts Tinubu over killings, kidnapping

A veteran actor, Yul Edochie, has again urged President Bola Tinubu to take firm action against the growing kidnapping and killing across the country.

He said the worsening insecurity has become unbearable and must be tackled without delay.

Actor Calls for Stronger Action on Insecurity

In a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) page, Edochie stated that the nation’s security situation is a “slap” on the President’s face.

He insisted that Tinubu has the strength and resources to bring the menace to an end.

He wrote: “Dear President Tinubu, You have the capacity to crush these bandits and kidnappers who are killing Nigerians daily and even posting it on social media.

“It’s a slap on your face Mr. President. Nigerians are now afraid to travel. Afraid to move around. Everyday innocent lives are being wasted. If you need foreign assistance, seek it. Go hard on these criminals and crush them.”

Reactions Trail Edochie’s Message

His post sparked mixed reactions as many Nigerians expressed their views on the matter.

Some supported him, while others challenged the tone of his message.

Samuel Ozonna wrote: “Yul the only way to gain Tinubu’s attention is to curse him, then go back and make peace. Take Reno template.”

Obyno King said: “😂😂😂 How do you expect him to crush his business partners! What do you expect when a sitting president is a drug lord, his Vp a bokoharam sympathiser, his ministers bokoharam members and his ministers, advisers are all Iswap and bandits? Ndi erieri!”

Orabtorblack commented: “I thought you believe Jagaban would fix the country? Are you doubting him? Relax he would fix everything 😁”.

2TwentyTwo added: “Slow your horses, Yul, Tunumbu is cooking up another ambassadorial list, hopefully your name might make it into this new list.”
