“It was my turn to cash out” – Lady cries out as contribution leader goes into trance

A Nigerian lady with the Twitter handle @Aunty_naya has cried out after joining a local contribution group, commonly known as ‘ajo,’ only to find herself in a peculiar situation when it was her turn to collect her share of the funds.

A screenshot of a WhatsApp message exchange between @Aunty_naya and the contribution holder became the talk of social media platforms, as it revealed an unprecedented reason for her delay in receiving her money.

@Aunty_naya, eager to receive her contribution, messaged the group holder, only to receive a surprising response.

Instead of the holder herself, a friend of the holder replied, disclosing that the contribution holder was currently in a trance at her church and would be available to make the payment the following day.

She wrote;

She is on trance at church and she will be coming down tomorrow. Have been holding her phone since Thursday.”
