Isaac Fayose tackles Soludo after statement that politician denying running for second term should call for psychiatric evaluation

Popular political commentator, Isaac Fayose disagrees with Anambra state governor, Professor Charles Soludo, after he claimed that any politician who says he’s not going to run a second term needs a brain check.

It would be recalled that the former CBN governor opined that any politician who promises to only run for one term needs a psychiatric evaluation.

Isaac Fayose reacted to this by recalling the late South African president, Nelson Mandela who had ruled for one term and refused to run for a second tenure.

He noted that the assertion of the governor was absolutely wrong.

“There was a man, Nelson Mandela. He did just one term. The second term they said leader come and lead us and he said, no, I am weak but my spirit is with you. Let someone else lead. It’s not everyone that wants to lead for eight years. Eight years of no future…”
