“Is Kwara not part of Nigeria anymore?” – Lady cries out to President Tinubu over rising killings, insecurity
A Nigerian lady has cried out over the worsening security situation in Kwara State, calling for urgent intervention from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she described the fear and tension residents are currently facing, alleging that families are being attacked and communities left unsafe.
In her words, she said:
“Are we in Kwara State not part of Nigeria anymore? President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, please help us. They are killing us. Families are being kidnapped, homes invaded and wiped out.”
She further revealed that residents now live in constant fear, as stepping outside has become a major risk due to the increasing level of insecurity.
According to her, the attackers are heavily equipped, raising concerns about how they gain access to weapons and continue operating without being stopped.
“We are scared to even step outside. They now move with w3@p0n$ and petrol. Where are they getting all these from? Yet the President is campaigning for second term. If everyone is gone, who will vote?” she added.
The post has sparked concern online, with many Nigerians expressing sympathy and calling on the government to take urgent action.
