Iran-backed Houti prime minister assassinated

Tragedy strikes as Iran-backed Houthi Prime Minister, Ahmed al-Rahawi killed in an Israeli strike.
According to a report from Yemeni Media, Ahmed al-Rahawi was killed on Thursday, August 28, 2025, in Sanaa, Yemen’s capital.

Meanwhile, reports claim the airstrike resulted in the death of top government officials, including Defence Minister Mohamed al-Atifi.
This follows an Israeli attack that resulted in the deaths of Al Jazeera journalists in Gaza
On August 11, 2025, the strike resulted in the deaths of Al Jazeera top journalist, Anas Al-Sharif and four Al Jazeera staff members.
Anas Al-Sharif left behind his wife, Bayan Khalid, and their two children, Salah and Sham.
