Inter’s €45m Lookman bid rejected by Atalanta

Atalanta have rejected a fresh €45 million bid from Inter Milan for Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman, as transfer talks between the two Serie A clubs stall.

According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Inter submitted an offer comprising €40 million plus €5 million in add-ons.

However, the proposal fell short of Atalanta’s €50 million valuation of the 27-year-old attacker.

Lookman, who is under contract with Atalanta until 2027, is not being pressured to leave.

The Bergamo-based side are reluctant to part with one of their standout performers unless their full asking price is met.

The Nigerian international enjoyed a stellar 2024/25 campaign, with 27 goal contributions across all competitions.
