Inter set deadline to secure Lookman signing

Inter Milan are pushing to complete the signing of Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman from Atalanta before the end of July, according to Football Italia.

The Nerazzurri have intensified efforts to land the 26-year-old forward this summer, having already seen an initial bid rejected.

While Atalanta are holding out for €50 million, Inter are preparing an improved €45 million bid, after €40 million was initially rejected.

Fresh negotiations between both clubs are expected to resume this week as Inter seek to reach a compromise.

Lookman has reportedly agreed personal terms with the San Siro outfit, who are keen to finalize the deal promptly.

Serie A champions Napoli and Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are also monitoring the situation, but Inter remain front-runners for the former RB Leipzig and Leicester City attacker.
