Influencer raise ₦2m to support mother of 5 who gave birth to quadruplets at FMC Abeokuta

A mother of five who recently delivered a set of quadruplets at Federal Medical Centre Abeokuta has received financial support after her situation drew attention online.
The woman reportedly gave birth to four babies at the hospital, with two of the newborns said to be premature and requiring extended medical care.

Due to the circumstances, she was expected to remain at the facility for some time while the babies receive treatment.
Following the development, Nigerian influencer Wizarab revealed that he contacted medical doctor and content creator Dr Sina to visit the hospital and assess the situation.
According to Wizarab, Dr Sina went to the hospital to check on the mother and obtain an estimate of the medical bills required for her care and that of the newborns.
After receiving the estimated cost from the hospital, the influencer said a total of ₦2 million was sent to support the family. The funds are expected to cover the hospital expenses, while the remaining balance will be used to purchase essential items needed for the babies.
Wizarab also disclosed that a balance of ₦1.6 million remained as of March 13, 2026, while thanking supporters who contributed to the effort.
He added that Dr Sina would later provide further details about the medical condition of the babies and the care they require.
His words …
“Having confided with @the_beardedsina, he went to the hospital this morning to visit the lady and get the cost of the hospital bills. The lady doesn’t have money to cover anything and will remain in hospital for a while because 2 of the kids are premature.
We got an estimated bill for her from the hospital, and we have sent N2m to them. The money would cover the bill, and the balance will get some necessaries for the babies. @the_beardedsina will explain the medical aspect to you guys.
Balance brought forward this 13th day of March, 2026, is N1.6m. Thank you for your trust and kindnesses 🙏🏾”
