“In 2033, there will be no mosquito in Nigeria” – Primate Ayodele declares
Popular cleric Primate Elijah Ayodele has sparked reactions online after making a bold prophesy about the future of Nigeria.
According to him, mosquitoes will completely disappear from the country in the year 2033, a statement that has left many Nigerians confused, amused, and debating its possibility.
In his words, he said:
“2033, there will be no mosquito in Nigeria. Don’t believe it o, just write it and hold it. If you’re alive then, you will see it.”
The prophecy has since gone viral, with some Nigerians questioning how such a thing could happen, while others jokingly asked if malaria would also vanish alongside mosquitoes.
As expected, social media users wasted no time reacting, with many tagging the statement as one of the boldest predictions yet from the controversial prophet.
A commentator wrote, “No be only mosquito, na malaria. Nigeria pastors and yeye prophecy 😭” Another added, “We will bookmark this one till 2033.”
It will be recalled that the Primate also recently cautioned President Bola Tinubu against selecting any of the governors who defected to the ruling party, particularly from the northern region, warning that such a move could trigger serious backlash.
Whether taken seriously or not, Primate Ayodele’s statement has once again stirred conversations online, as Nigerians mark their calendars and wait to see what the future holds.
