Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Queen Mercy Atang, has stirred buzz online after announcing her relationship status.
It would be recalled that the reality TV star traditionally tied the knot with David Oyekanmi in March 2024.
Queen Atang Clarifies Relationship Status
In a now‑deleted comment under her recent Instagram post, Queen Atang responded to a user who asked about her relationship status.
“Queen, hope you are still married?.Because Asa you are too beautiful to be single “, The user asked.
In response, Queen Atang clarified, “Single and unavailable”
It would be recalled that rumors about Queen Mercy Atang’s marital crisis emerged online after she unfollowed her husband, David Oyekanmi, and wiped their wedding pictures from Instagram in October 2024.
However, in an interview, the BBNaija star explained the move was meant to shield their marriage from the constant (Direct Message (DM) and public scrutiny she felt was invading their private life.
However, the reality TV star refollowed her husband on Instagram and restored their wedding photos to the platform.
Notably, Queen Mercy Atang’s name was previously linked with Nigerian content creator, Lord Lamba.
This erupted after she announced her engagement to David Oyekanmi via an Instagram post.
Lord Lamba released a series of photos showing him with their daughter, Princess Keilah, and posted the child’s passport to prove paternity.
