“If you vote Tinubu again…” – Northern man reacts to Maiduguri blast, sends warning to Nigerians

A Northern man has stirred reactions online after sharing a strong message following a recent explosion in Maiduguri, calling on Nigerians to be more deliberate with their choices ahead of 2027 elections.

In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), he criticised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s decisions and expressed concern over security, particularly in the northern region.

In his words, he said:

“This is a message to all northerners, if you vote APC again, you guys are going to be the most stupid set of individuals I have ever come across in my life. A bomb blast just hit Maiduguri, and the first thing the president did was fly to the UK.”

He went on to compare past leadership responses, stating that previous administrations at least addressed citizens during crises, while expressing disappointment in the current situation.

The man also used the opportunity to advise Nigerians across different regions to be cautious and intentional, especially in light of security concerns.

“To my southern brothers, we need to be very careful and deliberate with our choices. And to my Muslim brothers, I advise staying cautious, avoid crowded mosques for now, because these are places that can be targeted,” he added.

The video has sparked mixed reactions online, with some agreeing with his concerns about security, while others criticised his choice of words and political stance.
