“If religion was meant to better our lives, the Western invaders wouldn’t have brought it to us” – Actor, Ugezu J. Ugezu
Popular Nollywood actor and movie director, Ugezu J. Ugezu has affirmed that if religion was a catalyst for development in a society, the Whites who brought it wouldn’t have thought of doing so.
The movie guru maintained that up till this point, the ‘Western invaders’ still hide sensitive and important things that may aid the growth of the African society from Africans, then present us with only religion.
He called on Africans to wisen up and identify the tricks of these ‘Western invaders’
In his words:
“If Religion is something good, something that will ultimately better the lives of any people, THE WESTERN INVADERS WOULD NOT HAVE BROUGHT IT TO US. Up till today, they are still hiding important things from us. But our people will never learn. TUFIAKWA!”
