Ibom Air Flight; Why Comfort Emmanson was remanded in Kirikiri prison – Festus Keyamo

Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, breaks silence on viral video of Ibom Air Flight female passenger, Comfort Emmanson.

Notably, Comfort Emmanson has been in the headlines over a viral video showing her physically assaulting a flight staff and security personnel.

In a recent tweet on X (formely Twitter), Festus Keyamo condemned the release of the video showing indecent exposure of Emmanson during the incident.

The minister directed that whoever released the video be identified and sanctioned.

According to Keyamo, Emmanson has been banned indefinitely from flying by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), charged to court, and remanded in Kirikiri Prison for failing to provide adequate sureties.

“The Police has promptly arraigned her this morning at the Ikeja Magistrates Court for criminal offences and remanded her at Kirikiri Prisons as she could not provide adequate sureties in court”,The tweet stated.
