“I would rather go to hell than get signed by Wizkid, Davido or Burna Boy” – Brymo
Popular singer and songwriter, Brymo fancies going to hell over getting signed by either of his colleagues, Wizkid, Burna Boy or Davido.
In an interview that on Curiosity Made Me Ask, Brymo discussed a number of facets of his music career. He claimed that he would go to hell than sign with any of the afrobeat artists, including Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido.
The host of the interview, Isbaeu recounted an instance in which the performer was meant to appear at a show or event but arrived late. Instead of offering an apology to his fans, he made a crude comment directed at them.
Isbaeu then asked as a way of apologizing to Nigerians and proving to them that he is changed man, if he could sign to either Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy‘s record label.
In response, Brymo said he would rather go to hell. He asserted that his act was meant to be an attempt at humor and that was the only time he ever made such statement.
He further stated that it worries him that after three years, the matter won’t go away.
