“I would like to stream with Davido” – Phyna open to reconciling with Davido, seeks clarity over past online spat

Former Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna expresses her willingness to reconcile with Afrobeats superstar Davido, stating that she would accept an opportunity to stream with him if it arises.

She made this known while speaking during a recent livestream.

Phyna said she is ready to tender an apology to the singer but noted that she would first like to understand what truly transpired between them and how Davido perceived the comment that sparked the controversy.

Phyna and Davido’s beef

The rift between Davido and Phyna dates back to late 2023, when the singer appeared to like a post on X (formerly Twitter) that questioned Phyna’s identity. The action was widely interpreted as dismissive and triggered backlash from Phyna and her supporters, who accused Davido of bullying and arrogance.

Fellow reality TV star Tacha also weighed in at the time, amplifying the criticism.

Since then, the incident has remained a point of discussion among fans of both personalities.

Phyna express readiness to bury the hatchet

Phyna took online to display a softening of her stance and an openness to resolving the misunderstanding, provided there is clarity on what led to the fallout in the first place.
