“I worked at Dangote’s food factory packaging indomie and was earning ₦20K monthly” – Bella Shmurda

Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has shared details about his humble beginnings, revealing that he once worked at a factory in Ikorodu packaging products for a company owned by Aliko Dangote.

Speaking during an interview on Echo Room, the artiste disclosed that he earned ₦20,000 monthly at the time and had no additional source of income.

Bella Shmurda: “I went to work in Ikorodu at Dangote’s company as of those that package indomie.”

Interviewer:How much were you making?”

Bella Shmurda: “I was making 20K per month.”

Interviewer:N20K per month – were you making any other money by the side?”

Bella Shmurda: “No o, it was just that 20K o. It is all good though, it was an experience for me.”

Interviewer:Was it all good at that time?”

Bella Shmurda: “It was not all good oh, if it were all good I wouldn’t go to the factory na. But it is all good. Those are things that I just remember now”.
