Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has shared details about his humble beginnings, revealing that he once worked at a factory in Ikorodu packaging products for a company owned by Aliko Dangote.
Speaking during an interview on Echo Room, the artiste disclosed that he earned ₦20,000 monthly at the time and had no additional source of income.
He described the experience as challenging, noting that life was not easy during that period.
Despite the difficulties, Bella Shmurda reflected on the job as part of his journey, saying it contributed to shaping his perspective and growth.

Bella Shmurda: “I went to work in Ikorodu at Dangote’s company as of those that package indomie.”
Interviewer: “How much were you making?”
Bella Shmurda: “I was making 20K per month.”
Interviewer: “N20K per month – were you making any other money by the side?”
Bella Shmurda: “No o, it was just that 20K o. It is all good though, it was an experience for me.”
Interviewer: “Was it all good at that time?”
Bella Shmurda: “It was not all good oh, if it were all good I wouldn’t go to the factory na. But it is all good. Those are things that I just remember now”.
