“I will not pay for anything” — Lady lists strict rules for men in her life
A woman has sparked widespread debate on social media after openly sharing a list of personal rules she applies to men she dates or interacts with romantically.
In a video circulating online, the woman stated that she does not believe in financially or logistically supporting men in any form.
“I will not drive a man anywhere. If we’re going somewhere, he can come and pick me up. If I have to drive us there, then I’m just going somewhere alone.”
‘I don’t pay for men’ stance draws reactions
The woman further explained that she does not pay for meals, outings, or gifts for men, insisting that dates should be fully funded by the man involved.
“I don’t pay for dinner, movie tickets, or gifts. I will not buy anything for a man. If I’m paying for my dinner, I’m eating it alone.”
She added that whenever she goes out to dinner with a man, she expects him to cover the bill, describing this as a non-negotiable standard rather than a preference.
Rules on communication and access
Beyond finances, the woman also spoke about communication boundaries, revealing that she does not freely give out her phone number or offer explanations to men.
“I don’t give men my phone number. I don’t give men explanations. I don’t answer most of men’s questions,” she stated.
According to her, men must show persistence and clear intention before earning her attention.
“I require them to ask over and over again so I can see if they’re serious, and then I want to know why they want to know the answer,” she added.
Her comments have continued to generate mixed reactions online, with some praising her boundaries while others criticised her views as rigid and transactional.
