According to her, the situation began when a man who had earlier asked her to be his girlfriend contacted her again. She said she had rejected his proposal but later agreed to remain friends with him.
The woman explained that the man later invited her to accompany him to a birthday party at a house in Lekki.
She said the man even transferred N200,000 to her so she could buy a dress for the event, a gesture she initially saw as harmless.
However, the night soon took an unexpected turn. “When I got there, I met 11 guys and only 6 ladies, making it 7 with me,” she said while recounting the experience.
She explained that the gathering started like a normal party, with guests chatting, drinking and enjoying music.
But according to her, things became uncomfortable when several people at the party started getting tipsy.
The situation reportedly escalated when the lights were suddenly switched off and some of the men allegedly brought out masks.
At that moment, the atmosphere changed, leaving her feeling unsafe and confused about what was happening around her.
Although she did not provide full details of everything that followed, the lady said the experience was enough to make her take a firm decision about her future social life.
“I will never attend any house party in Lekki again in my life,” she said while narrating the incident.

Story sparks debate on social media
After the video surfaced online, it quickly generated mixed reactions from social media users, with many debating issues of personal safety, trust and expectations surrounding private parties.
Some commenters advised women to remain cautious when attending unfamiliar gatherings.
Chief & Queen wrote: “Avoid alcohol at parties for your safety, and always stay aware of your surroundings. Being alert can save you from dangerous situations.”
Others questioned the circumstances surrounding the invitation and the money she received.
Hensennygold commented: “You can’t date someone but you fit go party with ham,you girls no know exactly what you want.”
Another user, Oysiji, highlighted the difficulty of identifying risky situations beforehand.
“That why one have to be careful when you go out for a party but how will you even know the good or the bad party??” the user asked.
Some reactions were more critical of the lady’s decision to accept the money before the event.
John Udoh wrote: “You collect ABI you no collect? Most house parties are always a sex exhibition, if you claim you don’t know that, you lied.”
Similarly, Clarity stated: “She confidently accepted 200k without wanting to participate in the game. She’s mad. And very mad. We ladies can be foolish, so you think a man will just give you free 200k for nothing just because you think you are beautiful.
Any money a man gives you, there is always something attached to it. Women know this so she should stop pretending.”
