“I was scared…” — Nana Otedola opens up on Temi’s pregnancy

Nana Otedola has revealed why she initially felt anxious after learning that her daughter, Temi Otedola, was expecting her first child with singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi.

Her heartfelt confession has sparked conversations online about motherhood and balancing family life with demanding careers.

Speaking during a conversation with Temi and her husband, Nana explained that her biggest concern was the nature of Mr Eazi’s work in the entertainment industry, which often requires frequent travel.

She also admitted she was surprised that the couple decided to start a family so soon after getting married, having expected them to enjoy a longer honeymoon phase.

Nana Otedola explains her fears

Nana said, “When you got pregnant, I was scared because Tosin works in the entertainment industry and travels a lot. I spent most of my parenting years raising my children on my own, and I didn’t want my daughter to go through the same thing. I was worried she’d be left at home alone with the baby.”

She further recalled being taken aback by the timing of the pregnancy, saying, “I was shocked you guys were having a baby so soon. I thought you’d spend about three years enjoying the honeymoon phase. But she told me, ‘Mum, we’ve been together for five years… we’ve already done all that.’”
