“I spent ₦4,500…” — Lady reveals what happened after her date refused to buy her food

A lady has sparked widespread reactions online after a viral video in which she narrated how a date turned sour after she refused a request from a man she met.

In the trending clip, she claimed the encounter began normally after they started chatting and arranged to meet.

However, she said things changed when she did not comply with his expectation during the meeting.

Alleged change of behaviour during date

She explained that the man’s attitude allegedly shifted after she declined to be intimate with him, claiming it affected how she was treated.

The lady said she chose not to rely on him for food and instead paid for herself during the outing.

Part of the statement in the video read: “You asked me out, but when I didn’t follow you to another room, you switched up and refused to buy me food. I didn’t beg, I spent ₦4,500 on myself.”

Woman defends her actions

She further insisted that she is not someone who depends on men for money or food during outings, adding that she prefers to take care of herself when necessary.

According to her, the experience was misinterpreted by some viewers, and she should not be judged based on her appearance or statements in the video.
