“I slept in the hospital with you for several weeks and you still left” – Rudeboy mourns Mr Ibu

Veteran singer, Rudeboy has expressed his sadness over the passing of Nollywood icon John Okafor, better known as Mr Ibu.

It is no longer news that the Nollywood industry lost one of its own, a movie legend, Mr Ibu on Saturday, March 2. Fans and colleagues in the industry were shocked and saddened to learn of the actor’s passing.

One half of the Psquare band, Rudeboy, who was present in the hospital when Mr Ibu was ill, expressed how depressing it is that the actor passed away even after he spent several weeks with him in the hospital to make sure he was fine.

He asked God why while stating that there is really nothing in life.

He wrote: “I slept in the hospital with you for several weeks just to be there with you and all .. and you still left. God why?? #mribu. Aswear forget !!! Nothing dey for this life.”
