A friend of Ifunanya Nwangene, a fast-rising Nigerian singer and vocalist, has shared details of their last chat before her tragic passing.
It would be recalled that the 26-year-old singer was bitten by a snake in her Abuja residence and passed away on January 31, 2026.
Man Shares Final Advice From Ifunaya Nwagene
The man identifed with the Facebook handle, Matthew Samson Abah shared that Ifunanya’s death has left an irreplaceable void in his heart.
He posted a touching tribute, including her final advice which reads, “A friend told me. If God puts a thought in your head, don’t hold back. I regret going to the morgue and seeing you embalmed”.
Details Of Their Last Chat
The man expressed shock upon learning Ifunaya was snake-bitten, stressing her room needs fumigation.
“Please call me when you can or I will call you anyways. I’m so sorry ify. You need to fumigate your room. Ify, I’m still coming to check chats please call me”The text reads.
AMEMUSO Choir Breaks Silence
Meanwhile, the Amemuso Choir has shared a detailed account of Ifunaya Nwagene’s passing, stating she was bitten by a snake in her Abuja residence and died at the Federal Medical Centre on January 31, 2026.
According to the choir’s Music Director, Sam Ezugwu, Ifunaya sent a message to the WhatsApp group at 10:13 am seeking help.
However, a snake handler found a medium-sized cobra in her room, another snake near her doormat, and a third snake in the nearby compound.
