“I pushed for his arrest” – VeryDarkMan spills new details on Harrison Gwamnishu ransom theft scandal

Popular social media activist, VeryDarkMan has opened up about the Harrison Gwamnishu controversy, revealing that he was the one who pushed for the activist’s arrest.

The drama comes after a viral claim that Harrison allegedly diverted funds meant for the release of kidnapped victims in Edo State, leaving fans shocked and disappointed.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, VeryDarkMan revealed that when the matter first arose, he confirmed its authenticity and urged those involved not to post anything online, but someone leaked the information.

“When the whole thing happened, they called me. When they told me, I was surprised, so I had to make other calls. I spoke to the police, and when the story turned out to be true, I was sad. Immediately, I told them something. I said I do not want to see this thing on social media”, he said.

He further explained that the man who posted the video felt compelled to defend himself because the family was already accusing him of working with Harrison to defraud them.

VeryDarkMan dismissed Harrison’s so-called debunking video as emotional manipulation and a pity show, calling it misleading and saying it tried to justify Harrison’s actions rather than tell the truth.

He also confirmed that Harrison has refunded the 5.4 million in question and is currently with the police in Benin, warning that if Harrison refuses to tell the full truth, he will make it public himself.

Despite the drama, VeryDarkMan insists he is not motivated by jealousy, stating that his platform has always been about the truth.

“I genuinely believed he had changed. If he hadn’t dropped that manipulative video, I probably would’ve left the whole thing alone,” he added.

Fans remain divided, with some praising VeryDarkMan for speaking out, while others question why such matters are made public.
