“I paid to see a lion” – Man shares video of what he saw at Port Harcourt Zoo

A Nigerian man has sparked reactions online after reportedly visiting a zoo in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, only to find what appeared to be a moulded lion displayed inside a cage instead of a live animal.

The incident, captured in a viral video, has generated widespread discussion on social media.

Video captures unusual sight

In the video, the man filmed what appeared to be a lion-shaped object made from ceramic, positioned inside a cage.

The object was placed behind bars, giving the impression that it was a live lion on display.

Man expresses disappointment

Reacting to what he saw, the man questioned why such an object was being displayed in place of a real lion.

He also accused the zoo’s management of deceiving visitors who paid to see live animals.
