“I married my husband because of sex” — Pastor’s wife says in viral video

A Nigerian cleric, Reverend (Mrs) Stellamaris Ajetomobi, has sparked widespread reactions after a viral video surfaced online showing her making controversial remarks about marriage, sex, and marital duties.
The video, which has circulated widely on social media platforms, captures her speaking boldly on her understanding of marital responsibility and the role of intimacy within marriage.
Viral remarks spark online debate
In the trending clip, Reverend (Mrs) Stellamaris Ajetomobi made a series of statements describing sex as the central purpose of marriage, while contrasting life before and after marriage.
She said: “If I need to do it, it’s gone down. Excuse me, sex is marriage. Sex is marriage. Let me tell you, in my father’s house I used to wear clothes. I eat rice. I eat any food.
I have house to leave everything. What do you think I came to look for in my husband’s house? It’s sex. It’s sex. Sex is the matter. It’s very yours.
If I do it with any other man, I will be stoned. If I do it with any other man, God will frown at it. So he’s the only one I have liberty.
And they even gave me certificate, as many of you that were there that day. Certificate to do. And so, if anybody find me, you find me in your pastor’s room. You can’t query me, isn’t it?
Because that is the assignment you send me to be doing there. You can help me cook. That’s not bad.
You can help me wash clothes. That’s not bad. In fact, you can help me do homework for my children.
I pay teachers to do that. This assignment, this is the core assignment. I can’t pay anybody. If I need to do it, it’s gone down.”
