A woman has shared a light-hearted incident involving her 9-year-old nephew during the Easter holiday visit, sparking amusement online.

Easter visit leads to unexpected confusion

The incident reportedly occurred when she asked the child to deliver an item to a neighbour earlier in the day.

However, confusion arose later in the evening when the neighbour claimed she never received anything, prompting questions about what actually happened during the delivery.

“I told you guys my nephews and nieces came for Easter holiday. This morning, I gave my 9-year-old nephew something to give my neighbor. Fast forward to this evening, the neighbor said she didn’t see anything, and I was confused,” she said.

Child’s explanation sparks reactions online

According to her, when she questioned the boy, he insisted that he completed the task but failed to inform the neighbour properly.

His explanation, however, added humour to the situation as he claimed he left the item because the neighbour was asleep.

Similar funny misunderstandings involving children during holidays have been shared in previous years, including a widely circulated 2021 case where a child mistakenly delivered groceries to the wrong house in Lagos.

“I called my nephew and asked him if he gave her what I sent him. He said he went there and kept it inside. I asked why he didn’t tell her, and he said she was sleeping, but the baby saw me. Guys… the baby is 6 months old,” she added.
