A man has shared a surprising encounter after he left a shop to buy pure water from a delivery driver at a cheaper price, only to later discover that the driver was the shop owner’s husband.
The man, identified on X as De Liberty, said he visited a shop close to his street to buy pure water, where one bag was being sold for N500.

According to him, a pure water delivery motor arrived while he was at the shop, prompting him to ask the driver for his price.
The driver reportedly told him that he sold a bag for N400, leading the man to leave the shop and buy 10 bags directly from him for N4,000.

De Liberty said he collected the delivery man’s phone number before leaving and later walked past the shop in the evening.
He said the shop owner then confronted him about his earlier purchase and revealed the unexpected relationship.
The shop owner said, “You came here this morning to buy pure water and left because you found it cheaper. I hope you know that the man you bought from is my husband?”
