A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions on social media after her desperate attempt to reconcile with her boyfriend following a misunderstanding went public.

In a viral screenshot circulating on TikTok by @ lohreyy, she sent a WhatsApp message to her friend, asking her to post a picture on her status with the caption “Rest in Peace (RIP)”, visible only to her boyfriend.

In her words, she said:

“I’ve been apologizing to him, but he is just saying he is done with the relationship. He isn’t replying me, not even picking my calls again.

I’m thinking if he sees it, he will be scared and try to reach out to me and say he has forgiven me.”
