“I have lost 9 of my buddies in the past 4 days” – Soldier cries out, shares emotional message to family

A Nigerian soldier identified as Emmanuel Ezra has stirred emotions online after sharing a heartbreaking account of his experiences on the frontlines.

In a message posted on March 23, 2026, the soldier revealed that he had lost nine fellow soldiers within just four days during ongoing operations, describing the situation as overwhelming and exhausting.

Alongside his distress call, Ezra shared a deeply emotional message addressed to his younger brother, outlining his hopes and wishes in the event he does not return home.

In the message, he urged his family to care for their mother, support his siblings’ education, and remain strong if news of his death emerges.

He also appealed for prayers, noting that the realities of his daily experiences are difficult for others to fully understand.

“Message to my kid bro dis morning 23rd march 2026

Good morning kid bro KINGSLEY
Tell mom I we do my best to come back alive in the cost of protecting the country.But if incase I don’t make it back, please help me take good care of her.
Don’t cry if you hear that am gone
Wipe up my gallery,give my phone to our kid brother GOODLUCK (BABA) tell him to study perfectly and nobody should wear any black to my funeral.
Make sure our only sister Emmanuella (sanasi) did not drop out of school. Try by your all means to make sure daddy did not think too much.
Tell my girlfriend not to cry much but tell her to move with our memories.
If I offended you,find a place in your heart and forgive me,and if you offended me,just know that my heart is empty.
