“I had to block him”- Lady shares encounter with man who credited her ₦500,000
A Nigerian lady on the microblogging platform, X (formerly Twitter) has shared her encounter with a man who drives a GLE 450.
The lady, @freakin-snow on X shared she met the man at Wuse market located in Abuja.

In her viral tweet, the X user shared that the man offered her a lift, which she declined.
He then asked for her name and phone number, but she didn’t give it to him.
”He offered to drop me,I declined and told him my ride is few minutes away. He proceeded to ask me my name and phone number- I told him my name but refused to give him my line”, The tweet reads in part.
An hour later, the man she met at the market called her, admitting he got her number by bribing the driver.
However, he credited ₦500,000 to her Opay account and messaged er on WhatsApp.
Meanwhile, she requested for his account details to refund the money, he declined,.
Eventually , she blocked him suggesting he’s older and married.
”I told him to send his account so I can send the money back that I’m not interested, he refused. I had to block him immediately cos he’s older and definitely a married man”, She stated.
