“I feed them every Christmas but she didn’t give me Sallah food” – Lady cries out

A Nigerian lady has stirred reactions online after expressing pain over her neighbour’s alleged decision not to give her Sallah food despite her habit of sharing meals during festive periods.

Kind Gesture During Christmas

According to the anonymous message, she had always shown kindness to her Muslim neighbour by giving her food every Christmas.

She explained that she did this happily and believed the gesture was mutual. However, she was left hurt after the neighbour reportedly slaughtered two rams and shared cooked food with another neighbour in their compound but did not give her any.

Confused About What Step to Take

The lady revealed that she even tried to joke about the situation but felt ignored, which made her more upset.

She added that the incident affected her so much that she delayed cooking in her own home while hoping she might still receive something.

She also questioned whether she should confront the neighbour or simply ignore the situation and act differently during future celebrations.

She wrote: “Hide my identity let it not be like there is anything attached. I just need to know where I belong. I have a neighbor that is Muslim and every time we doing Christmas I give them food. I feed them well and that with joy. She used to give me. But this time around they kee two ram and cooked. We are three in compound. She gave my other neighbor and didn’t give me. I even jokingly said mama imam how far, she said fine as if she doesn’t understand the how far. They left the home already. Do I confront her or just ignore and do back during Xmas. And even Esther is coming I will utilize this one. Let me know when you post because this pained me. I didn’t even put pot on fire untill I see go no go…”
