“I don’t write my songs, I do freestyles off my head” — Shallipopi
Talented street-pop singer, Crown Uzama popularly known as Shallipopi has revealed that he does not write down his songs, rather he freestyles them.
In a video posted online, the Elon Musk crooner in an interview with Do2tun on Cool FM stated vividly how he composes his songs.
Speaking to Do2tun, he stated that all the songs recorded to his name are freestyles.
When asked if ‘Elon Musk’ the song that brought him to limelight was a freestyle, he said “Yeah, all my songs are freestyles, even the ones that looks written are freestyles”.
The singer further stated that all the songs on his EP are freestyles and he recorded all of those songs within two hours.
Shallipopi went on to give reasons as to why he doesn’t write his songs, stating that it will be too strict and professional when he writes songs. Also nothing in his words that “music should be full of vibes and cruise”.
When asked if comments from fans usually gets him upset, he responded saying – “nahhh, they’re meant to motivate me”.
