A 36-year-old man has opened up about the emotional toll of business failure after revealing that he has moved back in with his parents following the collapse of his second business in 10 years.
The man, who shared his experience online, said he currently has no money and is not married or a father, admitting that his situation has left him feeling humiliated, lonely and scared.

Speaking about his struggles, he said, “I don’t care anymore. I’m 36 years old and I just moved back in with my parents. My business just failed. It’s my second business to fail in the last 10 years.”
Man opens up about challenges of entrepreneurship
The 36-year-old said starting a business was much harder than the picture often presented on social media, where the difficulties and emotional struggles of entrepreneurship are rarely discussed openly.
He said, “Starting a business is so hard, man. And I feel like they don’t talk about that on social media. Or at least they don’t share how it feels, which is lonely and scary and endless.”
Despite the setbacks, the man said he was determined to continue trying, signalling that his latest business failure would not mark the end of his journey.
‘I’m not gonna quit’
Reflecting on his personal circumstances, he acknowledged that he was not close to achieving some of the milestones he had hoped for, including marriage and having children.
He said, “I don’t have a wife. I don’t have kids. And I’m not close to doing any of those things. It’s humiliating.”
However, despite the uncertainty surrounding his finances and career, he ended his reflection on a note of determination, saying, “But I’m not gonna quit.”
His comments have highlighted the less glamorous side of entrepreneurship and the pressure people can face when career setbacks occur alongside societal expectations about age, marriage and financial success.
